Meetings

For the smooth conduct of the Organization, the following meetings are conducted:

  • Group meetings: The planning officer convenes this meeting with his Group. In this meeting, the issues/problems and suggestions of Wardens are discussed threadbare. Normally this meeting is conducted once a month.

  • Meeting of Planning Officers with Chief Traffic Warden: In this meeting, the outcome of Group meetings is discussed and suitable measures are taken. Normally this meeting is conducted once a month.

  • Executive Officers meeting of the Organization: In this meeting the policy matters and other critical matters which ensures more efficient Service is discussed and plans for the future are drafted. Normally this meeting is conducted once a month.

  • General Body meeting: It is the occasion, where the Wardens get an direct opportunity to air their feelings to the Chief Traffic Warden. Normally it is conducted once a quarter.

  • Annual General Body meeting: It is one of the important occasions in the Organization. Here the audited accounts are presented and the Best Wardens are honored. Invariably, Commissioner of Police presides over the function and distributes the Awards to the Best Wardens. All the Deputy Commissioner of Police and Assistant Commissioner of Police too participate in this meeting apart from RI's and RSI's.

  • Special meeting: This meeting is convened during special occasions, when any dignitaries are invited to address the Wardens.

  • Interaction meeting with Police Officials: It is one of the most important meetings, because the Wardens get a rare chance of being heard by the higher-ranking Police Officials. In these meetings, many a new idea evolves for the improvement of Traffic flow.
